Before I talk about my predictions here’s my list for 2022: I’m pretty sure Rovio said they weren’t making anymore Rovio Classics for Angry Birds. ![]() In the future I expect Reloaded to be THE Angry Birds games. They could just give it to Activision and boom. I would actually be pretty happy if they released a remake for it with Space instead of Rio (lawful reasons). Which is weird considering that Stella is one of the faces of Rovio. They were highly under used in most of these games. I wish this game was updated or given more DLC, at least with AB Classic. The biggest problem with this is that it still doesn’t have a lot of content for Classic AB, and Seasons has up to Back To School. This game with its DLC has hell of a lot more content to Reloaded. AB Trilogy features 3 games: Classic, Seasons, and Rio (I wish it was Space). Unlike the other ones this one is comparable to Reloaded (Maybe not some of the PC Releases especially the ones that don’t have Reloaded episodes). Seasons having up to Piglantis, and Space in its original form (Bad Piggies only having the first two). Classic having less content than Rovio Classics (it doesn’t have Cake 3). This isn’t much of a problem for Rio, but for AB Classic, Seasons, and Space it is. The biggest downside for this is that the first 4 (don’t know about the Star Wars ones) have less content than their final versions. The PC releases consist of AB Classic, Seasons, Space, Rio, Star Wars and its Sequel (I didn’t say Bad Piggies because it’s definitive version is still available for free on the app stores). Accessibility is this game’s main problem. Not only that but I would and wouldn’t be surprised if they did this with Angry Birds Space as well. It has two games of content and it’s likely going to get more, seeing how it’s October Ham O’ Ween is likely going to get remixed. It remixes (it literally mixes up the levels) Angry Birds episodes and Angry Birds Seasons episodes. Sure it does reuse levels, but compared Rovio Classics Reloaded is mayonnaise. While this game is obviously a cash grab and according to some it has broken physics (I can’t tell) it has a lot of content. Now I know what you’re thinking “Rick, you absolute r tardigrade (please don’t find my address and kill me)! This game is terrible!” Hold on a second my friend. Rovio Classics could be an obvious answer, the problem is that it has a lot less content than the original. While I do know the actual answer, downloading the original on 3rd party websites, but I’m talking officially. What is the definitive way to play Angry Birds? It’s something that I think about from time to time. Either that or I’ll think about them while at school, because I get bored a lot (especially in Math), I’ll also think of them before bed, because I’m bored their as well. Also, there is a cloud system that syncs your local savegame with Steam’s server, so be careful when the game asks you which one one has to keep.Fun Fact: Most of my thoughts, theories, and ideas are made while in the shower. They are the same files as usual, but they are not in your local folder such as C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Rovio\Angry Birds Space, but instead are (at least for me) at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\somefigureshere\someotherfigures\remote. If you already have the standard v2.0.0 PC version, you must pay again to get this one (since it is not purchased from Rovio but from Steam), and it costs around 5 EUR for Europe.Īnother difference is how and where the score files are kept. ![]() Unsurprisingly, those leaderboards have their lot of cheaters (see this Mithrandir guy below), but unexpectedly, they work the same way as the ABO Game Center leaderboard works, i.e., for each level the best score between non PU and PU scores are kept, which give better scores, but which is somehow inconsistent since no PU can be used on this nor any PC versions: The only diffrence I could see wrt the standard, now discontinued PC game is the existence of a Leaderboard, obviously conected to Steam users: Together with the mission system to unlock them: The then brand new Brass Hogs levels are available: It features all the then existing episodes (only Solar System, which was released 5 months and a half later is not there): ![]() The game does not seem to be significantly different from the previous PC versions. ![]() 2015 somehow became available from the Steam platform at some epoch, and, at the moment of writing, still is: 2014, however, I just discovered one exception to this disappointing fact: Angry Birds Space v2.1.0, which was the most massive AB game update ever (30 classical levels 260 Mirror World levels) and was officially released on Jan. Many PC players cried when Rovio announced that no new game nor existing game releases would be available on PC from Nov.
